Overview

In a developing project environment, good intentions of planning and control are often 'overtaken by events'. The challenge for the project management organisation, and its key project staff, is to develop skills that can cope with the uncertainties that are inherent in any project environment. This course builds on basic project management techniques to provide the project manager and other key players with a tried and tested methodology for dealing systematically with project risks.

Training Method

RISK is a practical course, focussed on real project concerns. It gives participants the opportunity to develop solutions for their own projects, and to share ideas on controlling project risk. Group work and case studies are a central part in the training.
