What is the difference between PMI® PMP® and CAPM® certifications?

The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) is designed for project teammembers and entry‐level project managers, as well as qualified undergraduate and graduate students who want a qualification which communicates their value in project team performance.

Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification is for experienced project managers who already have some level of project management training and are looking to advance their project management skills.
